Bowling Tournament Raises More Than $8,000

The United Way of Delaware and Otsego Counties hosted the 31st Annual Pro-Am Invitational Bowling Tournament on Sunday, March 3rd at the Holiday Lanes Family Recreation Center in Oneonta.

This year's event raised more than $8,000, which stays right here in our local community helping the poor and working poor who live in our two-county area. The tournament winner and recipient of the Kermit Weaver trophy was Rod Holcomb, who had a total of 708 points. Additional finisheres recognized included tournament first runner up, Lee Kopf; second runner up, Tim Winner; and third runner up, Gus Lampo Jr.

This annual fundraiser is made possible through the generous support of ISD (Information Systems Division), Northern Eagle Beverages, and the dedicated bowlers who donate their time and money to participate.
